During the holidays, new shade cloth was installed over the Junior (Prep-2) play equipment. The bright blue sails are very eye catching! The installation is part of our SunSmart School program and ensures that our smallest students can be active outside without risk of sunburn. Throughout 2007, the Environment Committee will also be installing additional wooden shelters along the oval as well as maintaining our many existing sun shelter areas.

January 31: Return to School for Grades 1-6. It was fantastic to see so many happy and smiling children returning to school for 2007! There was much excitement and holiday news to share, as well as the serious business of settling into new classrooms and discussing the program for the year. A big welcome to all our new students, and welcome back to all our old (and much taller) students from last year.

January 30: Teachers return to School. The teachers had a very productive day, where we discussed the year's program and our aims for the year.
